Prescriber-led aesthetics consultation at Bury Healthcare Aesthetics

Why prescriber-led matters

Aesthetics in the UK is largely unregulated — anyone can inject after a short course. We think your face deserves a higher standard.

Clinical assessment, not a sales pitch

Your consultation is with a pharmacist independent prescriber. Medical history, medicines and suitability are reviewed before anything is agreed.

Regulated premises

Treatments take place in purpose-built clinical rooms at a GPhC-registered pharmacy — with proper consent, records and aftercare.

Complication cover

A prescriber on site means emergency medicines and a clear plan are there if a complication ever needs managing — not a phone number on a leaflet.

Aesthetics clinic FAQs

What are anti-wrinkle injections?
Anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only treatment that relaxes the small facial muscles that cause expression lines, softening wrinkles on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. Because the medicine is prescription-only, treatment is only agreed after a face-to-face consultation with our independent prescriber.
What are skin boosters and what do they do?
Skin boosters are micro-injections of hyaluronic acid that hydrate the skin from within. Rather than adding volume or changing your features, they improve skin quality — hydration, elasticity and glow — across the face, neck or hands. We offer Profhilo, Jalupro and Gouri alongside mesotherapy and exosome therapy; the right option is chosen at consultation.
Are dermal fillers safe?
In trained, medical hands, hyaluronic-acid fillers have a good safety record — but the UK aesthetics market is largely unregulated, and most complications we see reported come from non-medical settings. Choosing a regulated clinic with a prescriber on site means proper assessment, sterile technique, and immediate access to the medicines needed if a rare complication occurs.
How much do treatments cost?
Pricing is confirmed at consultation once we’ve assessed what will actually achieve the result you want — we’ll never sell you more than you need. Contact the pharmacy for the current price list.
Who carries out the treatments?
All treatments are carried out under the care of Hassan Khan MPharm, pharmacist independent prescriber (GPhC 1126145), at Bury Healthcare’s registered pharmacy premises. Aesthetic treatments are for adults aged 18 and over only.
Do you offer training for practitioners?
Yes — Bury Aesthetics Academy runs CPD-accredited courses from anatomy & physiology and phlebotomy through to advanced injectables and complications management, taught hands-on in our clinical rooms. See the Academy page for dates and entry requirements.
