Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and Viagra Connect
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the persistent inability to get or keep an erection sufficient for sexual activity. It is more common with age and can be linked to underlying conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, anxiety or depression. The good news: most men respond well to treatment.
Viagra Connect 50 mg contains the active ingredient sildenafil. Since 2018 it has been reclassified in the UK as a Pharmacy (P) medicine, meaning adult men aged 18 and over can buy it without a prescription — after a short consultation with a pharmacist.
Adult men aged 18 or over with difficulty getting or keeping an erection for satisfactory sexual activity, who are otherwise generally well and are not taking nitrates, riociguat or ritonavir.

If your blood pressure is uncontrolled, very low (under 90/50), or you have valve disease or significant arrhythmias.
If you have severe liver or kidney disease, an inherited retinal disorder such as retinitis pigmentosa, or have ever had NAION (loss of vision in one eye).
Viagra Connect 50 mg Film-Coated Tablets
We stock Viagra Connect 50 mg in packs of 4 tablets — manufactured by Viatris UK and supplied with the original patient information leaflet. Viagra Connect is the OTC (Pharmacy P) version of sildenafil, the active ingredient in prescription Viagra, and has been licensed in the UK since 2018.
Viagra Connect must not be taken with any nitrate medicine (GTN spray or tablets, isosorbide mononitrate or dinitrate), amyl nitrite (“poppers”), nicorandil, riociguat (Adempas) or ritonavir. The combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
