Foundayo tablets contain orforglipron, a once-daily GLP-1 receptor agonist taken by mouth for weight management. Foundayo is a prescription-only medicine: you complete a short online consultation, a UK-registered prescriber reviews it, and treatment is dispensed from our registered pharmacy in Bury only if it is clinically suitable for you. Foundayo launched in the UK on 24 August 2026, and Bury Healthcare Online — a GPhC-registered pharmacy (premises 1126145) — is supplying it from launch.

How to get Foundayo tablets online
- Complete the consultation. Choose your strength and click Start Consultation. The form takes about three minutes and covers your weight history, medical history, current medicines and identity verification.
- A prescriber reviews it. A UK-registered independent prescriber checks your answers, your BMI evidence and your ID. They may contact you for more information. Treatment is never guaranteed.
- We dispense and deliver. If approved, your medicine is dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy and sent by tracked delivery in discreet packaging. If treatment is not suitable, you are refunded in full.
About Foundayo (orforglipron)
Orforglipron is a non-peptide GLP-1 receptor agonist. Unlike semaglutide and tirzepatide, which are injected, and unlike oral semaglutide, orforglipron is taken as a conventional tablet. It works on the same GLP-1 pathway, acting on appetite regulation and gastric emptying to reduce how much you eat.

What is Foundayo used for?
Foundayo is licensed for weight management alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. It is not a substitute for those changes — it supports them. Your prescriber will assess whether your BMI and any weight-related health conditions make treatment appropriate.
Who can take Foundayo?
The only contraindication in the UK label is hypersensitivity to orforglipron or any of the excipients. Beyond that, Foundayo is not recommended if you have severe liver impairment, or severe heart failure classed as NYHA class IV, where there is no experience of its use.
Tell your prescriber if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy — treatment should stop at least three weeks before a planned pregnancy. Use caution if you have had pancreatitis, which has not been studied. No dose adjustment is needed at any level of kidney function, including end-stage renal disease.
Some medicines interact. The dose of simvastatin should be halved when taken with orforglipron. A maximum dose of 9 mg applies if you take a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor such as ketoconazole, clarithromycin or itraconazole, or an OATP1B inhibitor. Orforglipron may lower blood pressure, which matters more if you already take medicine for it. If you use oral contraception, additional precautions are advised for 30 days after starting and after each dose increase. List every medicine you take on the consultation form.
How to take Foundayo
One tablet once a day, swallowed whole. There is no fasting requirement and no restriction on food or drink — that requirement applies to oral semaglutide, not to orforglipron. If you miss a dose, take it when you remember, but never take more than one tablet in a day and never double up.
Treatment starts low and increases in steps, with at least 30 days at each strength before any increase. Your prescriber decides each step.

Side effects
Very common side effects, affecting more than 1 in 10 people, are nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, vomiting, indigestion and abdominal pain. These are usually worst after a dose increase and settle over time.
Common side effects include dizziness, headache, a faster heartbeat, low blood pressure, bloating, burping, reflux, wind, gallstones, hair loss, tiredness, and raised amylase or lipase on blood tests. Acute pancreatitis is uncommon. Raised pancreatic enzymes on their own do not predict pancreatitis.
